IGNOU launches electronic media PG course, will cost so much, know how admission will be done

 IGNOU has introduced PG Diploma in Electronic Media through open and distance learning mode in School of Journalism and New Media Studies.

Indira Gandhi National Open University (IGNOU) School of Journalism and New Media Studies has introduced PG Diploma in Electronic Media through open and distance learning mode. Students who want to take admission in these courses can do admission and registration through ignouadmission.samarth.edu.in till August 12, 2022. The process of admission to the course has started. The institute said that the new program has been prepared according to the National Education Policy 2020. The process of admission for IGNOU PG Diploma course is going on.

Admission Fee in SOJNMS Course

Duration of PG Diploma in Electronic Media Program shall be minimum one year and maximum three years. The medium of instruction for the program will be in English. However, students can submit their exams, assignments, practicals and projects in Hindi also. The fee for IGNOU Post Graduate Diploma in Electronic Media is Rs 9,500. IGNOU Vice Chancellor Nageswara Rao along with other guests inaugurated the program in hybrid mode.

Professor Pushpesh Pant and Subhash Dhulia, former Vice Chancellor Uttarakhand Open University were present in this program. For admission in these courses, candidates must have a bachelor's degree. Graduates can take admission in this course. IGNOU VC Nageswara Rao while delivering the presidential address has emphasized the need for such skill based programs in the field of journalism and mass communication.
